In June 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Padang Municipality of 0.79 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.29
Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in 9 expenditure groups, namely: 1) clothing and footwear group; 2) housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group; 3) household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group; 4) health group; 5) transportation group; 6) recreation, sports, and culture group; 7) education group; 8) food and beverage/restaurant provision group; and 9) personal care and other services group. Meanwhile, 2 groups experienced y-on-y deflation, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group; information, communication, and financial services group.
In June 2025, there was month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation in Padang Municipality of 0.29 percent and a year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of 1.50 percent.
