Abstract

In March 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Padang City of 0.40 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.31.
Inflation y-on-y occurred due to price increases indicated by increases in 8 expenditure groups, n, namely: (1) clothing and footwear group; (2) household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group; (3) health group; (4) transportation group; (5) recreation, sports, and culture group; (6) education group; (7) food and beverage/restaurant provision group; and (8) personal care and other services group. Meanwhile, 3 groups experienced y-on-y deflation, namely: food, beverage, and tobacco group; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group; information, communication, and financial services group
The inflation rate of Padang City in March 2025 on a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis was 1.06 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.58 percent.
