Abstract

  • Inflation in the city of Padang occurred due to an increase in the index in most expenditure groups, the highest occurred in the education, recreation and sports expenditure group of 1.66 percent.
  • Deflation of the city of Bukittinggi due to a decrease in the index in 2 (two) groups of expenditure, the highest occurred in the food expenditure group by 2.19 percent. 
  • The inflation rate of the calendar year until January 2019 City of Padang and the City of Bukittinggi is the same as inflation in January 2019, each inflation is 0.24 and deflation is 0.39
