Abstract

Pada bulan Maret 2020, jumlah penduduk miskin (penduduk dengan pengeluaran per kapita per bulan di bawah Garis Kemiskinan) di Sumatera Barat mencapai 344,23 ribu orang (6,28 persen), bertambah sebesar 1,14 ribu orang dibandingkan dengan kondisi September 2019 yang sebesar 343,09 ribu orang (6,29 persen).
Persentase penduduk miskin di daerah perkotaan pada September 2019 sebesar 4,71 persen naik menjadi 4,97 persen pada Maret 2020. Sementara persentase penduduk miskin di daerah perdesaan pada September 2019 sebesar 7,69 persen turun menjadi 7,43 persen pada Maret 2020
