In Padang Municipality in July 2018 there was an inflation of 0.62 percent or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 138.37 in June 2018 to 139.23 in July 2018.

The Bukittinggi Municipality in July 2018 experienced a inflation of 0.09 percent or a increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 128.97 in June 2018 to 129.08 in July 2018.
