Export

Sumatera Barat’s export value in February 2018 reached US$144,92 million or increased 3,25 percent compared to January 2018.
Meanwhile, compared to February 2017, it decreased by 35,16 percent.
The cumulative value of Sumatera Barat’s export from January to February 2018 reached US$285,28 million or decreased 32,85 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
The largest export good in February 2018 were fats and animal or vegetable oils of US$ 104,56 million, followed by rubber and goods from rubber of US$24,41 million, and mineral fuel US$7,68 million.
The largest non-oil export destination in February was India at US$ 44,14 million, followed by United Stated US$24,41 million and Singapore at US$17,19 million.

Import

Sumatera Barat’s import value in February 2018 reached US$33,34 million or decreased 46,93 percent compared to January 2018.
Meanwhile, compared to February 2017, it decreased by 24,56 percent.
The cumulative value of Sumatera Barat’s import from January to February 2018 reached US$96,17 million or increased 8,00 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
The largest export good in February 2018 were mineral fuel US$24,72 million, followed by fertilizer of US$5,34 million and ceramic product of US$ 1,53 million.
The largest importer country in February was Singapore with US$24,84 million and China at US$ 5,40 million.
